“Cols-verts” designed by Christiane Vauzelles in 1973. The pattern is about ducks.
I like animals, birds. So when I saw this Hermès vintage scarf, I knew I would bring her home. The green color is the key color. It let me feel calm when I look at the scarf. The ducks some flying, some relaxing, some cleaning their feathers. All the long reeds made ducks’ home peaceful and safe. After one days hard work, in the evening they fly back to their home, there they always will feel calm and comfortable.
Like I said before, every woman should have at least one scarf, one really good high quality scarf. When you need to take part in some important events, one beautiful scarf never will be wrong to match.
And like everybody have memories, and no one’s memories is the same. This is exactly the same for the vintage scarfs. This Hermès green duck scarf born in 1973 when I didn’t even exist yet and how interesting it came to me now. I don’t know who was her last owner and how many owners she had before and what kind of the people they were. All of this makes Hermès vintage scarves unique and special. This is the biggest reason why Hermès vintage scarves still have the charm until today. Its not just one scarf, it is also one piece of history and life.
